Blackpool Illuminations

Blackpool’s famous illuminations will be back again this year. Enjoy a coastal walk from Cleveleys into Blackpool if you're feeling up to it, you can pick up the cycle/foot path on the promenade just opposite Seahawk. If you prefer, the local tram or bus will get you there in just a few minutes.
Lightpool Festival
18 to 26 October 2024
Blackpool's award-winning Lightpool Festival is expected to return this October with extraordinary free entertainment. Last years event was stunning and had something for everyone. Easy access from Cleveleys by bus or tram, or if you prefer, enjoy the journey via the coastal cycle/footpath starting on the promenade just opposite Seahawk.
The programme features a spectacular mix of extraordinary light installations, live performance and 3D projection shows.
The festival, which is free to access and staged across a range of indoor and outdoor venues.
It will be complemented by the world-famous Blackpool Illuminations.
Lytham Light Festival
3-7 July 2024
2024 will see five nights of live music light up Lytham Green once again.
This tranquil beauty spot is normally reserved for dog walkers, kite flyers and family picnics but for one week each summer it's transformed into a buzzing live music hub as artists from across the globe perform to crowds of up to 20,000 people per night.
World Firework Championships 2024
7 September, 21 September, 5 October
Three opportunities to witness a spectacular firework display. Only a short tram or bus ride from Cleveleys, or enjoy the journey by the coastal cycle/foot path starting from the promenade near Seahawk.
